Mango plays significant role in the spiritual life of Indians as well. Mango blossoms are also used in the worship of the goddess Saraswati.

Indian space agency ISRO has been credited with advanced yet low cost missions. Compared to U.S. space agency NASA and space agencies from other developed countries, Indian space scientists have managed to launch many missions at fraction of cost in the western world.
