How do you know when to leave what you know for the new challenges?

What can you do?

After you’ve answered those questions, it’s time to look at step two:

Consider everything from the finances to your mortgage. Will you be able to survive if you do move?
Take some time to make sure you are prepared for whatever new journey it is you are making.
- Update your CV.
Once you have moved to the next step in your career, you will need a CV to apply for the move to London.
Think about the London job market and how it fits in with your experience, education and career path. Write the CV to fit in with that picture, and you will be surprised at how easily it will fit in.

The former is more of a showcases type format, with past work history and achievements highlighted. This is purely down to the employer’s benefit, as you can show them the impact you have had (or Hopefully won’t have).

- In your Interview.
Wear clothes that are smart. Look fit and smart, and always keep things edgey. Nails polished – Show you’re carefree and easy going. Keep drinks to a minimum. Once hired, never give alcohol to the interviewingee, as it may get you into trouble, and make it far more difficult for them to deal with you after the job is done.

Prepare your answers for interview questions. Learn about the company, the address and plan ahead, knowing that there will be people there. Practice!
- Stay in shape.

It’s not unusual for a job interview to extend to fifteen or twenty minutes. Be prepared. If necessary, take some notes and jot down some questions you might like to ask the interviewer. Be careful how you ask, only ask questions that require a more elaborate answer than a “yes” or “no”. Avoid asking questions about things you have no idea about.
